Carey/Sutton/Axdahl/Sullivan Deadwood Faction Loses: Steele Wins

Minnesota's RNC members Brian Sullivan and Evie Axdahl were quite public in their support of now former Chair Mike Duncan for another term as Chair. Fortunately, better minds on the RNC realized that more of the same is not what the party needs. This is especially true of the Republican Party of Minnesota. Unfortunately our leadership at every level insists that more of them is what is needed.

In fact, virtually everyone who has been in a position of substantive authority needs to be replaced. The idea that people with no experience should be avoided is laughable. The idea that the deadwood, the uber-experienced are the future is risible.

  1. I'm not sure you should be calling people out by name. We all know who they are. Still, I'm glad someone is posting honestly about the state of the RPM.

  2. I personally don't have a problem with calling people out by name. Just don't do it anonymously. Otherwise you just come off as a big fat pussy.

The biggest problem is that the Republican Party, and even the people criticizing it, is too reactionary. The GOP leadership sees one thing work for the Dems and they fall over themselves trying to copy it. The dissenters within the GOP however, seem to be more prone to bashing leadership after the fact and crying "look what they're doing to us now" than to actually offering positive alternatives.

  3. Bravo Blaise. I think this a "Anonymous" crap has gotten too much attention already! I dislike anonymous posts on my blog. Whether they are positive or negative. Take a look at this post,
