BPOU Conventions: Any New Blood?
BPOU conventions begin March 7 and run through April 4. Will there be new blood at these gatherings or will the "been here forever but pretty ineffective" group keep their stranglehold? The only way the lumpen State Central Committee will change is if we have different people coming out of the BPOU conventions. Show up people. Don't let the tired old guard discourage you. They are afraid of new ideas and don't like being challenged.

Evie & Brian Lose: Sutton & Brodkorb Weep
"We're going to say to friend and foe alike: 'We want you to be a part of us, we want you to with be with us.' And for those who wish to obstruct, get ready to get knocked over," Steele said.
Evie: retire with grace.
Brian: a joke does not have to be your identity.
Thanks for being losers.

Carey/Sutton/Axdahl/Sullivan Deadwood Faction Loses: Steele Wins
Minnesota's RNC members Brian Sullivan and Evie Axdahl were quite public in their support of now former Chair Mike Duncan for another term as Chair. Fortunately, better minds on the RNC realized that more of the same is not what the party needs. This is especially true of the Republican Party of Minnesota. Unfortunately our leadership at every level insists that more of them is what is needed.
In fact, virtually everyone who has been in a position of substantive authority needs to be replaced. The idea that people with no experience should be avoided is laughable. The idea that the deadwood, the uber-experienced are the future is risible.
Your thoughts? Please post your comments.

Electing The New RNC Chair: MN Says More Of The Same
Consistent with their being part of the problem, Minnesota's two members of the Republican National Committee have announced their support of the current chair, Mike Duncan. Brave, these two.
And locally? Any braver? No indeed as they both are supporting Ron Carey's hand picked successor Tony Sutton.
Weak leadership in the MN GOP is premised on people having been around a long time and that very longevity being the (often sole) reason for promoting them. But the actual accomplishments of such people? How churlish to ask!
The base has grown tired of incompetents and seat warmers. Time for leadership.

WELCOME
Thank you for visiting this blog. Its purpose is to provide a forum for those who know that the Republican Party of Minnesota is in desperate need of change. The current leadership at all levels is the problem and what it offers now is more of the same. Let's thank them for their (incompetent) service, show them the door and elect people who aren't afraid of hard work and new ideas.
By all means feel free to name names here but no posts will be allowed that are defamatory, offensive or abusive. Know of someone who isn't doing their job? Just say who, when, where, why and how. That will be enough. Have a vendetta? You must be current leadership so this site isn't the place for you to pursue it.
Please tell others of this site. It's for you, after all. Which the MN GOP stopped being some time ago.
